The TERG recently hosted a gene2skin consortium update meeting and workshop in RCSI, April 10-11.
The workshop was focused on gene-activated scaffolds for Tissue Engineering with a particular focus on the potential for these systems to be applied to skin regeneration and wound healing. Representatives of all 3 partner organisations - TERG RCSI, Centre for Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine at King's College London and 3B's Research Group at the University of Minho - were in attendance.
